This Privacy Policy explains how BWP Experts (“we”) handles personal information when you visit https://license.bwpexperts.com, buy a plan, use our plugins or contact us. We only collect what we need to provide our products and support.
Information we collect
- Account & order details: name, email address, billing address, phone (if provided), order history, license keys and downloads.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment and limited card details (such as card type and last four digits) but never your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send through our contact form or by email (name, email, website, message).
- License activation data: when a plugin checks its license, it sends the license key, the website URL where it is installed and the plugin version to our license server.
- Referral data: if you join Refer & Earn — your referral code, link clicks, referred orders, commissions and the payout details you provide (e.g. PayPal/Payoneer email or bank details).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and cookies needed to run the store (see our Cookie Policy).
How we use your information
- to process orders, deliver license keys and downloads, and create and manage your account;
- to validate licenses and prevent misuse or sharing of keys;
- to provide support and reply to your messages;
- to send transactional emails (order confirmations, account details, license and payout notices);
- to run the referral program and pay commissions;
- to keep the website secure, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Legal basis
We process your data to perform our contract with you (orders, licenses, support), to meet legal obligations (tax and accounting records), and for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving our products). Where required, we ask for your consent.
Data retention
We keep order and invoice records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Account data is kept while your account is active. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, except for records we must keep by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email us — we will reply within 30 days. You can update most account details yourself in My Account.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption, secure payment processing and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data in other countries. Where this happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect your data.
